This morning, Tobii announced a design win with Sony for the Playstation VR2 headset. Albeit not completely unexpected, implied upfront payments due to be received in 2022 (>10% of projected revenue, according to the release) is likely higher than market expectations, we believe. Not only does this derisk the growth runway ahead, it is an important step in the equity story, given it is the first design win with tangible mass-market potential.
