Rough quarter below our expectationsMidsona’s Q3 report was weaker than we’ve seen during 2020. Sales came in below our expectations at a growth of 7% (-1% organic, -4% FX, 12% M&A) for sales of SEK 821m (-8% vs ABGSCe). On the profitability side, the company delivered an adj. EBITDA of SEK 72m and an adj. EBIT of SEK 37m, which was c. 30% and 45% below our expectations.

Net sales SEK 821m (-8% vs ABGSC 889m and -8% vs cons 888m), Gross profit SEK 223m (-14% vs ABGSC 260m and -14% vs cons 260m), Adj. EBITDA SEK 72m (-30% vs ABGSC 103m and -31% vs cons 104m), Adj. EBIT SEK 37m (-46% vs ABGSC 68m and -47% vs cons 70m), EPS SEK 0.52 (-23% vs ABGSC 0.68 and -52% vs cons 1.09).
Expect negative cons revisions
Adjusting for today’s numbers alone, our 2020 adj. EBIT would decrease by 12%. We believe consensus will make high-single digit-to low double digit revisions on the negative side for ’21-22e.
