Interesting choice with a lot of experience
Jesper Söderqvist appointed new CEOEarlier this evening, the board of Boule appointed Jesper Söderqvist (born in 1966) the new CEO of the company. Mr. Söderqvist is most recently from First North listed company Arcoma, where he has been the CEO since early 2018. Prior to joining Arcoma, he was Vice President Portfolio Management of Elekta overseeing neuro products, and also the CEO of Sectra AB’s subsidiary Sectra Mamea AB between 2004 and 2011, and remained within the role up until 2014 after the sale to Philips.
15 years’ experience in senior management positions
First and foremost, it is clearly a positive to get a new CEO in place. We also believe that Mr.Söderqvist has an interesting profile with a broad base of competencies, and with 15 years of experience in senior management positions in med-tech companies.
Estimates remain intact
Current CEO Fredrik Dalborg will stay at the latest until January 2020, for which a gap of a few months could likely occur. However, we think that a solution meanwhile has already been addressed by the board. Today’s announcement has no effect on our current estimates.
