The importance of social responsibility
Artificial Solutions (ASAI) is a B2B software provider with clients in more than eight different sectors. We argue that one of the most valuable resources for a digital company is the knowledge within its workforce. To uphold its social responsibility, it is necessary to foster employee satisfaction. Since 2015, headcount has grown by ~10 employees per year. Thus, it is important to follow routines in terms of training new employees, especially in the case of having global operators. This includes efforts to promote gender equality, anti-discrimination, and individual development. Furthermore, we argue that it is important to foster social responsibility in relation to the end-customer. As ASAI offers an AI-based software platform that facilitates communication between customers and companies, it is essential to comply with GDPR as well as other similar corporate policies and procedures. Therefore, an ESG risk relates to privacy and data security. However, this risk is mitigated by the fact that its customers own their own data, while customers are also offered the possibility to host the solution in-house due to the platform’s open architecture. In terms of environmental footprint, ASIA’s operations have a low CO2 footprint, which mostly relates to employee travel.
